Why Attend SLAM 2019?
This is a hands-on workshop and conference involving key staff from software licensing,
procurement, contract and asset management areas representing a large number of Universities and other research organisations from across Australia and New Zealand, vendors and re-sellers.
The challenges of software lifecycle management are increasing through internal resource shortages, increased budget pressures and a new software licensing landscape with short application lifespans, cloud services and mobile device management.
The theme is "Shifting Gears" and with a community of specialists concentrating on software asset management, the conference will focus on sharing knowledge and experiences in terms of the various ways in which we can obtain value from our SAM processes and solutions.
With the focus on gaining the most value from SAM in a rapidly changing environment, conference attendees will share and discuss strategies and solutions to:
Software Asset Management
Current and future licensing models
Software auditing and compliance
